• Have an up-close look at the most distinguished church in the city on a trip to Holy Trinity Cathedral, also known as Tsminda Sameba. In the hill of St. Ilya, this resplendent church stands as the icon of contemporary Georgia and is the world’s third biggest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral.
• Another revered church covered in your tour itinerary is Metekhi Church, placed on a rocky outcrop by the banks of Mtkvari River. Tracing its origin past to 13th century, it’s believed to be the former site of the region’s first church erected by Vakhtang Gorgasali, hailed as the founder of Tbilisi. A visit to this timeless attraction further draws your attention to its beautiful surroundings, mainly the legendary monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali in the form of a majestic equestrian statue.
• For the most commanding views over the Old Town, take a trip to Narikala Fortress – a 4th century Persian citadel. Continue your trip to explore the Sulphur Bathhouse District. You’ll then head off to the region’s monumental treasures such as Sioni Cathedral and the 6th century Anchiskhati Basilica – the city’s oldest as well as the most charming church. Finally, make your way to Rezo Gabriadze Theatre – a fascinating marionette theatre designed by the renowned Georgian writer and film director.

• 09:00 - You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, the route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North, towards the border with Russia.
• 10:30 - You will reach Jhinvali Water reservoir created during the soviet era. You will spend 20 minutes there and promptly continuing your way to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes.
• 11:00 - You will reach Ananuri complex. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jhinvali reservoir. Because of local uprising and clashes Ananuri was controlled by different Dukes. In the complex you will see two churches from 17th century. The older one was built in 1689 and has sophisticated ornaments of grapes and crosses symbolizing soul of Georgian culture. You will spend about 40 minutes there.
• 11:30 - Continue your drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merge. Continuing on the way you will have a chance to taste the mineral mountain springs in Mleta.
• 13:00 - You will reach Gudauri and spend about 1 hours there. We will drive over the Cross Pass and make a short stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” mountain view point overlooking a deep gorge of Caucasus mountain range.
• 14:00 - After arriving to Kazbegi(Stepantsminda) we will change our vehicle to a four-wheel drive car to reach Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located on altitude of 2170 meters, and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kazbegi
• 16:00 - Transfer to Tbilisi
• 18:00 - End of the tour

After breakfast time to check out of the hotel and as per your flight timing or check out time you will be transferred to Tbilisi International Airport for your onward Journey with a lifetime memories.
